Dany here was from Blue Court lands originally, in her human years. Eden might've heard of an influential human family who were all brutally murdered by rogue vampires save for the daughter, who disappeared (read: was taken as a thrall.) If nothing else she might know the name Targaryen, though Dany doesn't use it frequently.
